The Grigorescu Manor, located in Buzău County, is a distinguished mansion that exemplifies the neo-Brâncovenesc architectural style. Built in 1930 by landowner Constantin C. Grigorescu, the mansion quickly became a popular meeting place for the elite of the time. Over the years, it played a significant role in the local economy, with its lands being used primarily for the production of local wine and brandy.
During World War II, the Grigorescu Manor was essential to the community, serving both as a hospital for wounded soldiers and as a refuge for local residents. During the communist era, the building remained privately owned. In addition, the manor's annex, known as the “Bodega Șoimului,” was frequently used as an event space for weddings and celebrations in the village.
