Vadu Crisului Waterfall
Cascada Vadu Crișului is the most famous and most photographed waterfall attraction in the Pădurea Craiului Mountains. It is located directly on the Crișului Repede gorge and can even be seen from the train. Originally, the water flowed gently into the river, but at the beginning of the 20th century the course was diverted so that today the water plunges over a limestone wall about 10 metres high. The waterfall is a starting point for six hiking routes that lead through the region.
