Red Lake
Red Lake, situated in the Eastern Carpathians, Harghita County, is a natural lake formed by a landslide in 1837. It is known for its reddish color, caused by iron oxides in the soil, and for the tree trunks sticking out of the water. It is a popular tourist destination surrounded by spectacular scenery.
