Voronet Monastery

The Voroneț Monastery is known as the “Sistine Chapel of the East” and is famous for its vivid exterior frescoes and its unique shade of blue. Built in 1488 by Stephen the Great, the monastery is considered a masterpiece of Romanian medieval art and symbolizes Moldavian spirituality and cultural heritage.
