Putna Monastery
Founded by Stephen the Great in the 15th century, Putna Monastery is a symbol of Moldavian spirituality and history. The ruler’s foundation is known for its Moldavian Gothic architecture and Stephen’s tomb. It is a religious and cultural center of great importance for Romania.
