Malaiesti Citadel
Mălăiești Fortress, built in the 14th century and later expanded, was abandoned in the 17th century and restored between 2012 and 2015. It now houses a museum and offers stunning views. Located in Sălașu de Sus near the Retezat National Park, it is easily accessible via the DN66 road.
